Voltage Adjustment
Located below the generator controller, the Voltage Adjust knob can be used to adjust output voltage. This adjustment may be necessary to compensate for voltage drop caused by long cable runs between the generator and the electrical load.
To adjust the output voltage, rotate the knob.
The generator output voltage may be adjusted between +0% and +10% of the nominal voltage.
For the 208VDC / 3 phase lines, voltage can be adjusted by as high as 229VDC between each of the phases, or 132VDC between each of the phases and neutral.
The setting is retained even when the generator control power is cycled on and off.
IMPORTANT Ensure that the output voltage setting is appropriate for the operating conditions.
The generator output voltage can be viewed by scanning through the generator screens on the generator controller display.
